Several media outlets are reporting that two more of Mayor Rob Ford’s staff members have left their jobs amid their boss’ ongoing drug scandal. This time, it’s Brian Johnston, who was a policy advisor and council-relations specialist, and Kia Nejatian, who was an executive assistant. CTV News reports that Johnston says he resigned. It’s being reported that Nejatian also left of his own accord.
This comes just days after two of the mayor’s press aides resigned, and barely a week after Ford fired his chief of staff, Mark Towhey, reportedly for suggesting that Ford seek professional help with his alleged drug issues.
