- In her latest column, Sue-Ann Levy takes Mayor Rob Ford’s alleged ass-grab incident and somehow, in finding a way to let Ford off the hook, makes it all about herself. (Admittedly, the personal anecdotes she relates sound like they were really painful to live through, but do they necessarily apply here?) She does make an interesting point about the mayor’s character, though: “Ford is socially awkward,” she writes. “He is not a player.”
- Meanwhile, over at Spacing, John Lorinc wonders: even if we do build a giant casino at the CNE, who’s to say it’ll make money?
