- Dufferin Station has been going through a makeover over the course of the past couple years. Recently, some of the construction hoarding has come down, and passengers can now see the subway platform’s new wall tiles. They’re colourful. Some photos of them are above.
- A woman somewhere has apparently had the Ikea monkey tattooed on her stomach. Yes, there are pictures.
- The guy who burned down the Empress Hotel has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. That’s one 2011 mystery solved, just in time for 2013.
