FIELD NOTES:
Unlikely graffiti muse Rob Ford is no stranger to this column. His enthusiastic stance against all things street art has led to a wave of Ford-inspired graffiti, some of which has made its way into Vandalist, and much of which has not. That’s why, considering the fact that Monday’s court verdict could lead to the death of this graffiti trend, we’ve decided to have a little Rob Ford retrospective. Here are ten never-featured pieces—some of which you may recognize—from the past two years. If we’re lucky, this will be our last time featuring Mr. Ford in Vandalist. Hopefully, our next mayor will be less inspiring.
Once a week, Vandalist features some of the most interesting street art and graffiti from around Toronto. Find something great? Email [email protected] .
