WHAT: On the night before Easter, Newmindspace held its annual public pillow fight in Yonge-Dundas Square. (Cities around the world staged similar events at roughly the same time.) Torontoist photographer Christopher Drost reports that there were around 100 participants in the brawl. The second hour, he writes, was more aggressive than the first, with “hooligan types taking huge aggressive swings at each other to the point security stepped in and called it quits.” Sounds like a good time.
