Scene: George Brown’s Waterfront Addition Nears Completion

WHERE: Queen’s Quay West, between Sherbourne and Lower Jarvis Streets.

WHEN: April 14

WHAT: George Brown College’s new Centre for Health Sciences has been under construction for almost three years, but now, with its anticipated Fall 2012 opening imminent, the building is nearing completion. When finished, it will act as a permanent home for George Brown’s health programs, and will also fill yet another gap in Toronto’s historically underdeveloped waterfront, just a little to the east of the Redpath Sugar plant.
