WHERE: The Port Lands, near Cherry Street and Lake Shore Boulevard.

WHEN: Saturday evening.

WHAT: Cavalia, a touring equestrian arts group, is bringing its new production, Odysseo, to Toronto. In preparation for the show’s May 15 opening day, crews in the Port Lands erected a 125-foot-tall big top this weekend, with over 100,000 square feet of floor space. After several weeks of coordination and logistics, the tent itself went up quite quickly; crews spent several hours lashing down the exoskeleton and 100,000 square foot white big top before moving inside to construct the 80-tonne technical rig.
