  • This past weekend, the Toronto Port Authority had a problem: an old airport building was in the way of the construction of the newly approved pedestrian tunnel that will connect Bathurst Street to Billy Bishop Airport. Rather than knock the historic structure down, they put it on wheels and rolled it elsewhere. The Grid has a pic to prove it.
  • Jian Ghomeshi landed an interview with Chinese artist and dissident Ai Weiwei. It airs tomorrow at 10 a.m., and yes, it’s kind of a big deal. Ever since his arrest last year, Ai has found it risky to speak to foreign media.
  • If you’re reading Torontoist, there’s a good chance you’re someone who thinks a bit about what it might take to build a better city. And so you might be interested in some of the nifty new features that are going to be part of the upcoming Sim City sequel. They’re even going to be simulating smog. Such realism.
