• Even if you disagree with Mayor Rob Ford, you have to admit that he makes a very attractive cookie. Well, Gurts Yogurt Bakery thinks so, at any rate.
• Councillor Maria Augimeri (Ward 9, York Centre) has come up with one of the most realistic, most down-to-earth subway-funding proposals yet to be advanced at City Hall. Bravo.
• And OpenFile’s John Michael McGrath tells us why the mayor will probably never get the support he needs to realize his Sheppard subway dreams unless he’s able to sway some swing votes on council, while David Hains gives us some very good reasons to doubt whether one particular vote will swing Ford’s way.
