  • If you favour farmers’ markets or Fiesta Farms over big grocery stores, you might have noticed a “Local Food Plus” stamp of approval when picking up your fresh vegetables. If you’ve never been entirely sure what that means, here’s a handy Q&A to explain.
  • Yesterday we told you about comedian Michael Balazo, who likes making fun of the Toronto Sun—and specifically, of Toronto Sun covers. When he did just that on a blog devoted to the subject, Sun Media told him that it was illegal for him to post screen shots of those covers, and he took them down. Sun Media was wrong though, and after yesterday’s article, we’re glad to report Balazo has restored the posts, cover images included.
  • The hunch every media observer and activist in Toronto has is true: people really are paying much more attention to City Hall, now that Rob Ford is in office.
