Extra, Extra: Bike Trails and Movie Posters
Every weekday’s end, Extra, Extra collects just about everything you ought to care about or ought not miss.

A draft proposal of new bike trails. Larger version available from the City ({a href="http://www.toronto.ca/cycling/network/pdf/new_connections_map.pdf"}PDF{/a}).
- City staff have been studying Toronto’s existing network of multi-use trails, with an eye to figuring out what additions would be of greatest benefit. They’ve got a draft proposal (pictured above) and they are soliciting feedback from the public before finalizing that map and sending it to the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee for debate. Transportation staff are hosting a meeting this upcoming Monday, February 6, if you have thoughts you’d like to share.
- If Rob Ford starred in a movie, here is what the poster might look like.
- A reminder! Today is the last day to participate in a survey about the future of Riverdale Farm. The Riverdale Farm Coalition is asking for feedback from the community as it wrestles with a City-mandated need to find new revenue for the attraction, or face it being sold.
- “Yo @mittromney I am K’naan Warsame and I do not endorse this message.” Mitt Romney, you may have won the Florida primary, but you haven’t convinced one musician. Romney played K’naan’s “Waving Flag” after his victory last night, and as it turns out, he didn’t ask first.
