FIELD NOTES: | Kids these days, they’re spoiled with their “Twitter” and “sexting” and “instant messages.” Back in my day, if I wanted to send a sexy photo to someone on the other side of the world, I’d have to walk miles uphill in the freezing snow just to get to the nearest mail box, then wait weeks, maybe months, to get a reply. These days the speed at which we can communicate is mind boggling. But, as phenomenal as modern communication is, you can’t beat the anticipation and satisfaction of receiving a handwritten letter (or sexy photo) in the mail. |
Once a week, Vandalist features some of the most interesting street art and graffiti from around Toronto. Find something great? Email [email protected].
