NDP Members Name Their Candidate For Jack Layton’s Former Riding
At a nomination meeting Monday night at the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto, NDP members nominated Craig Scott to run on their behalf in the by-election that will determine who takes over Toronto-Danforth, the riding formerly represented by Jack Layton. According to the Globe, Scott teaches international law at Osgoode Hall, and is a relative unknown in federal politics. The date of the by-election has yet to be announced.
