Scene: Occupy Toronto’s March to City Hall

WHERE: En route between St. James Park and Nathan Phillips Square

WHEN: Saturday, approximately 3 p.m.

WHAT: The Occupy Toronto movement marked the end of its first full week on Saturday with a march to Nathan Phillips Square. Though the group has no singular message, many feel that the current cost-cutting agenda at City Hall is damaging, and especially hurts those who are least equipped to cope effectively. Another march to City Hall is planned for this afternoon—if that march takes place, it may interrupt the City Council meeting that will be happening in the council chamber upstairs.
