Portion of Yonge Subway Line Closed This Weekend

Planning on zipping up and down Yonge on the subway this weekend, footloose and fancy-free? Cue the sad trombone. The TTC is closing the Yonge line from Eglinton Station to Bloor Station all day Saturday and Sunday while it continues construction on a double cross-over south of St. Clair Station. A shuttle bus will run between Eglinton and Bloor, making stops in between at Rosedale, Summerhill, St. Clair, and Davisville. The TTC also suggests riders take the University-Spadina subway, and walk or take a bus or streetcar east to Yonge.
