Falling glass shut down another downtown street corner; this is Adelaide and Church at about 3 a.m.

  • Toronto’s season of falling glass isn’t over yet: while we were out visiting the Occupy Toronto camp overnight, we also came across the above scene at Adelaide and Church, where glass had recently come down and smashed over a parked car; fortunately, there were no injuries.
  • Our municipal government is developing a city-wide plan for how our parks should develop over the next five years, and they want your input. There’s an online survey to fill out, and four scheduled public consultations.
  • GTA travellers, be warned: York Region Transit bus drivers have rejected their latest contract offer and are set to strike starting Monday.
