WHAT: Kite-flyers lucked out with gorgeous weather today, for the second annual Windfest celebrations. Created by activist Dave Meslin, Windfest is dedicated to both the virtues of wind power and to having fun. Participants could bring their own kites or make ones on-site, and they filled the beach for the better part of the day and well into the evening.
