Scene: A Year Later, Sharrows On Spadina
WHERE: Spadina Avenue, between Adelaide and Queen Streets
WHEN: 10 a.m.
WHAT: Last October, the City removed Spadina Avenue’s curb lanes, which had functioned as pseudo-bike-lanes. The City’s plan was to replace the lanes with sharrows, a type of marking that helps cyclists position themselves on shared roadways. Wednesday night, the first of those promised sharrows were painted on Spadina’s northbound side.
