• Hashtag of the week: #UnfriendlyToronto. One of the many responses to Toronto Life‘s cover story about fleeing the city is an opinion piece by Ed Keenan, which emphasizes that the Toronto he knows is, in fact, very friendly and not at all the sort of environment from which one might feel the need to run. And so was born a hashtag dedicated to friendliness reports. If you are feeling grumpy about your city, it will help.
• “Cups of the worm-shaped, Coke-flavoured batter are being introduced” to the CNE this year. Tiny donuts, your ranking at the top of the Ex junk food hierarchy seems secure.
