  • Dandyhorse asked cyclists what they think about plans for a separated bike lane from Sherbourne Street to Broadview Avenue, over the Prince Edward Viaduct. And the results? It seems there’s as much concern over how the lanes are implemented, and if they’ll be wide enough to allow passing, as there is enthusiasm for their construction. “I guess it will look like they are investing in bikes,” quipped one cyclist.
  • Rick Salutin’s latest column in the Star takes readers on a paranoia-filled journey driven by false identities and reverse psychology to unmask the real communists at City Hall. We don’t want to give away who Salutin names as his “chief candidate” (rhymes with Morgio Gammoliti), but we will applaud his doth-protest-too-much reasoning and his ingenious use of the classic ’80s proverb: “He who smelt it, dealt it.”
  • Quick! What time is it? If you’re reading this on Friday before 7 p.m., and you happen to be near College and Bathurst, you may be eligible for a free freezie, care of the Cyclists Union. Go grab a taste of summer before it completely melts away.
