Every weekday’s end, Extra, Extra collects just about everything you ought to care about or ought not miss.

- Reader Andrey Petrov sent us this shot of a unique installation just south of Kensington Market (featuring friend Melina Stathopoulos). We’re not sure who’s responsible for this piece of, ahem, handiwork but we’d be glad to credit them, so please email us if you know.
- Usually, when we in Toronto hear that cycling in another city is better, we suspect it’s because they have a drool-worthy network of bike lanes and paths, and then we go take a ride on Jarvis and have ourselves a little cry. But read what Shawn Micallef has to say about cycling in London versus cycling in Toronto, and why he prefers the former. It’s not because of the city’s cycling infrastructure, which is light on bike lanes. Micallef says the difference is that drivers across the pond learn to drive on narrow, crowded roads and are therefore more skilled and used to sharing lanes, which leads to better on-road relations with cyclists. Go figure.
- Here’s one Ford who’s not a fan of Giorgio Mammoliti. After fielding about a dozen complaints, Ford Canada has asked the councillor to remove their logo from the Facebook group he created. For his part, Mammoliti seems to be done with the “Save the City..Support the Ford Administration” group: “It’s run its course,” he said of the site. “Let the jokers continue running it.” You know, for a change.
