Toronto will be the only Canadian stop for a new major exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s work. Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso will feature over 150 works from that museum’s collection, including paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings. The pieces in the exhibition are drawn from all stages of Picasso’s career, and will be shown chronologically, offering an overview of the development of his art.
Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso is currently in the midst of an international tour, and hopes are high that it will prove a blockbuster for the AGO.
Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso will run from April 28 through August 26, 2012.
