Panoramaist is the Toronto shoe-gazer’s worst enemy. In the virtual panoramas, created by Tony Makepeace, you can look up, down, side to side, in, and out—pretty much every direction but back at yourself, which would be kind of creepy.
Click the image above to jump to the panorama of the Afropan Steelband, shot at the foot of Jefferson Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday night. Afropan Steelband was rehearsing for this weekend’s upcoming Caribbean Carnival parade, and turned the session into a public event. Beer and food and T-shirts were sold, and the band played as loud as they wanted, since no one lives anywhere close by.
