Behold the rainbow, portent of evil. Or, to some people, the queer community. So menacing is the rainbow that a Mississauga Catholic school banned them from an anti-homophobia event held late last week. (Rainbows!) When students at the St Joseph Catholic Secondary School were told their rainbowed posters would not be permitted, some of them got creative, and baked up a batch of rainbow-coloured cupcakes to sell as a fundraiser. Hats off to you, cupcake bakers!
