Spotted: Possum Family on Roncesvalles

WHEN: Saturday, May 28 in the afternoon.
WHAT: Looking a little scared by all the attention, this family of possums (check out the close-up to see the baby possum noses) caught passersby by surprise this weekend. Wildlife sightings aren’t infrequent in the neighbourhood, what with High Park being so close, but animals aren’t usually this exposed on a main street. “My wife Kate called animal services shortly after taking that photo,” Madhava Enros told us by email. “I went by again later in the afternoon—the possum was gone, but someone had put out a box and a bowl of water.”
