The media has a liberal—or Liberal—bias, as everyone knows. The Tories are the punching bag of choice in the press world, given a hard time by most establishment publications, right? Actually, nothing could be further from the truth. As citizens’ ballots were counted last week, another election result was also getting tabulated: the number of newspapers in Canada which endorsed the Conservatives. Of 22 papers which gave a straightforward endorsement of a single party, 21 chose the Conservatives.
