Today the mayor’s policy advisor, Mark Towhey, reiterated that position, despite the fact that Ford’s appointed transit advisor, Gordon Chong—who is charged with exploring financing options for the Sheppard subway Ford wants to build—told the Star this weekend that it would be impossible to build the subway without tolls.
