Scene: Ignatieff Campaigning in Toronto

20110328scene1.jpg 20110328scene2.jpg
WHERE: Spadina Avenue near Dundas
WHEN: About 1 p.m.
WHAT: Most of the federal parties have hit the election trail running, and leaders are on their third, fourth, or fifth stops by now. Ignatieff is the first to visit downtown Toronto, with a press conference at the Royal York this morning and a walking tour of Chinatown at lunchtime. Ignatieff did the things that one does on the campaign trail: eat a dumpling, pose for photos, and examine local merchants’ wares. Harper swung through Brampton yesterday, and Layton will be at the Wychwood Barns Wednesday afternoon.
