  • Deviant Productions, an “alternative media collective that advances social justice through its video reportage,” produced and just released the above video about the Queering Black History Month event on February 28 at Ryerson. Organizers hosted a panel discussion and photo exhibit that focused on making the experiences of queer and trans African, black, and Caribbean people part of Black History Month.
  • Gearing up for Earth Hour, WWF Canada released its list of the top 10 cities in Canada taking action on climate change, and put Toronto in second place [PDF]. The study, conducted in partnership with Corporate Knights, gave the top spot to Vancouver.
  • We told you a couple months ago that they’re reuniting for Coachella, but what we didn’t foresee was rioting at DFA 1979’s SXSW show.
  • Finally, a cool if slightly nausea-inducing 360-degree tour of the bells inside Old City Hall’s clock tower, care of the Toronto Star. [via @heritagetoronto]
