Rob Ford in Hospital, Reports Say
News is emerging that Mayor Rob Ford has checked into a hospital. No comment from his office just yet, but the Post is reporting that Ford was admitted today to receive treatment for kidney stones. If this is anything like his last health scare—when, despite the removal of his appendix and part of his colon, Ford took media queries from his hospital bed—don’t expect the mayor to let it slow him down too much.
The Star got hold of Adrienne Batra, Rob Ford’s spokesperson, who says he has been admitted on an outpatient basis, and that they are unsure whether he will have to spend the night in hospital. And, yes, he’s still returning phone calls.
