WHERE: King’s College Circle.
WHEN: Monday, December 6, at 1:51 p.m.
WHAT: University of Toronto engineering students erected this wooden “gravy train” in Nathan Phillips Square last night. They put food donations in one of its cars and attached a sign to the other car asking the public to do likewise. The Globe writes that City Hall security threatened the students with arrest if they didn’t remove their handiwork from the square. The train has since been relocated to King’s College Circle, where this photo was taken.
