Heroes and Villains 2010: Heroes: Stars

201012-heroesandvillains-STARS.jpg
Torontoist is ending the year by naming our Heroes and Villains of 2010—Toronto’s very best and very worst people, places, and things over the past twelve months. This week: our Heroes‘ turn, finally. Today: the stars—celebrities both big and small, from globetrotting hip-hop superstars to local literary legends.

201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-scottpilgrim-BM.jpg   Scott Pilgrim, proud shower-off of the Toronto we know, love, and almost never see on screen.
201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-drake-K.jpg   Drake, hip-hop’s golden boy.
201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-banksy-R.jpg   Banksy, the world’s most famous street artist, and, this year, Toronto’s most generous tourist.
201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-tracywright-BL.jpg   Tracy Wright, the fearless and selfless screen and stage actress who made odd characters her own.
201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-josebautista-M.jpg   Jose Bautista, the breakout Blue Jays slugger.
201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-chuckandvince-BM.jpg   Chuck and Vince, the “We Want It!” guys, who managed to make waste disposal very, very funny.
201012-heroesandvillains-heroes-paulquarrington-K.jpg   Paul Quarrington, the writer and musician whose brilliant humour didn’t end, even when his life was about to.

We’re revealing our Heroes daily, until December 24; if you’re feeling sinister, our Villains ran last week. So who’s the best of the best and the worst of the worst? From December 27 to 30, you can vote for Toronto’s Superhero and Supervillain of the year.
