Moments ago, Rocco Rossi held a press conference at his campaign office for the purpose of announcing the end of his mayoral campaign. This comes a day after George Smitherman’s campaign announced the defection of several former Rossi staffers to Smitherman’s camp, and just hours after the release of a poll that showed Rossi trailing his competitors by a wide margin.
