Caves! Mountains! Ultra-violence! Today in TIFF reviewry: Werner Herzog’s Cave of Forgotten Dreams () is “one of the best uses of the [3-D] medium to date”; Danny Boyle’s pass-out-inducing 127 Hours () is lazy, superficial, and entirely missable; and Kim Ji-Woon’s I Saw The Devil () is a remarkable—and remarkably violent—thriller, and only our third five-star film at the festival to date.
