New Poll Suggests A “Two-Person Race” Between Smitherman and Ford for Mayor

A new Ipsos-Reid/Global News poll puts Rob Ford and George Smitherman neck and neck in the race for mayor—Ford with 28% of all voters’ support, and Smitherman with 23%, with the margin of error at +/- 4.9% and with all other candidates well back. Were the race between Smitherman and Ford exclusively, Smitherman would best Ford, 48% to 45%.
