Make Your Own Rob Ford Funny
On Thursday night, the Toronto Star published “Rob Ford leads high school team to victory.” “He teaches us how to be gentlemen off the field,” one student on Ford’s football team told the paper as the rain fell, “But on the field, we’re monsters.” Star photographer Rene Johnston was there too, and buried within the article’s photo gallery—the seventh shot here—is a shot that’s close to perfect. On the sidelines, a windswept-Ford’s umbrella has just turned inside out and, with his right leg half-raised and a “Rob Ford For Mayor” button on his suit jacket, he is staring at the umbrella with a look that is half-concentration, half-admiration, as though he’s a little impressed that the umbrella’s tried to pull one over on him.
It also looks like he is dancing.
And that seemed as good an excuse as any to begin to edit Rob Ford and his uncooperative umbrella off the football field and into other scenes. (Yes, it’s easy and stupid and silly, but it’s also Friday.) Torontoist’s already created a few Photoshopped Ford pics of our own, but with this transparent .PNG of Ford that we created from Johnston’s photo, you can, too.
