How hard-to-watch is the scene in 127 Hours where James Franco (as mountain climber Aron Ralston) cuts off his arm? Torontoist’s Steve Fisher, who was at tonight’s screening at the Ryerson, tells us that at 7:45 p.m., three people required emergency medical attention watching it—after, apparently, passing out. “All three recovered within fifteen minutes,” Fisher writes, “but security, ushers, and Toronto Fire rushed to both the orchestra and the balcony.” More details to come here, when we get them.
