It’s chaos at the Elgin, reports Torontoist’s Christopher Drost, for the red carpet screening of Conviction—a fire alarm went off, and the fire department’s on the scene now. Rick Campanelli was cracking jokes that all the hot women set it off. Toronto Fire’s “Active Incidents” board lists a one-alarm fire [ or rather, not a fire, but a level one alert] at Queen and Shuter, with a dispatch time of 2:44 p.m. No smoke, or signs of anything serious, right now, though.
