Latest Poll Shows Mayoral Race Might Be More Wide-Open Than Previously Thought

A Nanos poll released earlier this week showed Rob Ford with a twenty-four point lead over George Smitherman—his nearest opponent—and only a quarter of voters undecided about who they’d cast a ballot for. But a newly released poll done by Angus Reid at the same time reveals a much different picture, reports the Star: according to it, 36% of voters are undecided, “about half of decided voters would consider defecting to another candidate,” and Ford’s lead over George Smitherman among decided voters is a mere thirteen points.
