New Poll Shows Rob Ford Ahead by Nearly 9%

A Pollstra Research poll, released yesterday, shows Rob Ford leading the 2010 mayoral election, with 37.6% of decided voters identifying him as their candidate of choice, reports the Sun. According to the same poll, George Smitherman’s share of decided ballots stands at 28.7%. The Post‘s Natalie Alcoba tweets the following percentages, also of decided voters, for other candidates: Pantalone, 15.5%; Thomson, 10.3%; Rossi, 7.9%. The margin of error is +/-3.8%, nineteen times out of twenty. 32% of voters remain undecided, which is a lot. Polls in June showed Smitherman ahead by a few points.
