- As of this week, and until at least the end of September 2011, stretches of several downtown streets—Gould, Victoria, and Willcocks streets—have been closed to vehicular traffic, and opened up for pedestrians. It’s “one small step for a pedestrian; one giant leap for Toronto,” writes the Star‘s Christopher Hume.
- Mondoville is collecting tweets from people who’re threatening to leave Toronto if Rob Ford becomes mayor. We recommend using the hashtag #FordEscape.
