LitBlog Spotlight: Amy Reads
The Canadian book blog community stretches from St. John’s to Vancouver Island. In between, there are hundreds of passionate readers who’ve taken to the internet to share their thoughts about literature. And thanks to the wonders of the internet, it’s easier to connect with them than it is to borrow a cup of sugar from your real-life neighbour.
One of these bloggers is Prince Edward Island’s Amy McKie, who spends her days telling companies how to improve their accounting technology (we’ll admit it, we don’t understand what she does). Since her job requires a lot of travel, Amy gets a lot of time to read (we’re kinda jealous) and channels this reading into her blog. Amy Reads is smart, thoughtful, and refreshingly honest. That’s what’s wonderful about the book blog world; anyone, anywhere can start a blog and share their passion with readers across the country and around the world.
