The Boulevardier: Ballcaps, Hoodies, and Bling

Now, when I was young, a gentleman always removed his hat when he stepped indoors and tough guys wore Italian suits or leather jackets. Those days seem long, long ago. But that’s not what’s up for discussion today—I’m talking about the back-assed ballcap, hoodie wearing, wannabe Ed Hardys currently populating our city. Why do so many men in TO seem to pretend that they’re a criminal or that they live in an American inner city? Guys, how tough can you be when you’re wearing more Swarovski crystals than your date?
