High Park Cherry Blossoms Blooming
As is their wont, High Park’s cherry blossom trees—a gift from Japan in 1959 that’s been added to since—are now in the midst of blooming. Spring and crowds have arrived to the park together: even on this overcast Saturday morning, the parking lots were all but full as dozens of people explored.
Torontoist photographers Nancy Paiva and Christopher Drost took turns exploring the patch of trees on subsequent mornings: Paiva visited Friday, and Drost visited Saturday. Their photos are above.
