An Interview with Cartoonist Nina Bunjevac

Nina Bunjevac is a true rarity: a talented installation artist, sculptor, and painter known for her surreal and photo-realistic paintings who all but left behind those media to pursue her love for the comic arts.
Not only has Bunjevac taught at Maxx the Mutt’s comics program, been invited to show work with underground legend Alexandar Zograf, and participate in Rome’s CRACK conference, her work will now grace U.S. underground zine Mineshaft, alongside contributions by such artists as underground legend Robert Crumb, Pulitzer Prize–winning Art Spiegelman, and many others.
