The much-anticipated Doug Wright Awards will be awarded during a ceremony at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival on May 8, at 7 p.m., at the Toronto Reference Library’s new Bram & Bluma Appel Salon. The Awards honour one of Canada’s greatest but almost forgotten cartoonists—Doug Wright—by rewarding the country’s most innovative English-language cartooning talent.
