We’re Looking for Newsstand Writers

Torontoist is looking for a few early risers to tend to Newsstand, our weekday morning roundup of local news from other fine outlets across the city. We want organized, careful, well-read, interesting, and interested writers with terrific curatorial skills and (when appropriate) a decent sense of humour. As the job of writing Newsstand’ll be divided amongst two to three people, each writer will be responsible for doing it a few mornings a week.

In it, tell us why you’d be great for Newsstand. No resumes or cover letters, please; if we select you as one of the finalists for the position, we’ll likely ask you to prepare a demo edition of Newsstand.
