PARTY: An entire genre of photography has emerged from the practise of taking the best party photos possible and posting them on the internet, and one of the most successful practitioners is lastnightsparty. The site is hosting its own party tonight, with help from friends at Dopplehertz. Last Night’s Party 2 follows the success of First Date in November. DJs for the night are Le Pants Optional, Cubscout (Johnny OC), and Matt Sims. The camera-shy should probably avoid this one. Wrongbar (1279 Queen Street West), 10 p.m.,
PARTY: Montreal party machine Peer Pressure takes a turn at the Drake Hotel Underground tonight, making the space a monster-mash of Montreal-style mayhem that can only serve to please. Peer Pressure invites you to break your resolutions with Ay LaRoche, Hatchmatèque, and MerkMeny. Drake Hotel Underground (1150 Queen Street West), 10 p.m., $5.
MUSIC: The Flying Bordelos, a surf and swing trio of well-honed players, are dishing up two sets tonight at Graffiti’s in Kensington Market. There is no cover, but donations to the proverbial hat will be appreciated. Graffiti’s Bar and Grill (170 Baldwin Street), 9 p.m., FREE.
ART: Katharine Mulherin’s Contemporary Art Projects and Board of Directors are hosting an artists’ flea market every Saturday and Sunday this month in their gallery space on Queen West. They are still looking for artists and crafty-type persons who might be inclined to sell their wares. Katharine Mulherin Contemporary Art Projects gallery (1080 Queen Street West), 12–5 p.m., FREE.
MUSIC: Montreal’s Hexes and Ohs are back in town headlining a full line-up at the Silver Dollar. Joining them on the bill tonight are Still Life Still, Our History of Cowboys, and Hut. The Silver Dollar Room (486 Spadina Avenue), 9 p.m., $7.
