According to MuchMusic, Keshia Chanté has confirmed that she will star as Aaliyah in a biopic about the deceased singer. Chanté—who you may have totally forgotten about if we didn’t show you this or this—is probably about as well-suited to this role as Joaquin Phoenix would’ve been to play Ray Charles. We imagine, though, that R. Kelly is totally delighted.
