SPORTS: The Toronto Maple Leafs take on the St. Louis Blues this afternoon. Ideally, the Leafs will see better results than last Saturday’s game, but we’re not keeping our hopes up. Air Canada Centre (40 Bay Street), 1 p.m., $44.61–$401.51.
HOLIDAY: Grocery stores, banks, liquor stores, government offices, and the post office will all be closed today. Fairview Mall and Yorkdale Mall will also be closed, but the Toronto Eaton Centre, Vaughan Mills Mall, and Pacific Mall will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The TTC will follow its holiday schedule.
MUSIC: Sunset Rubdown fans who are also celebrating Thanksgiving this evening will be disappointed to miss the Quebec quartet’s performance tonight at Lee’s Palace. Metal Kites will also play. Lee’s Palace (529 Bloor Street West), 9 p.m., $12.
BENEFIT: It’s Thanksgiving, guys! Get yourself over to one of the Daily Bread Food Bank’s drop-off locations [PDF] so less fortunate folks can enjoy the holiday, too.
